Participation in Fashion Miniatures in Paris is limited to a small group of 10 intermediate sewists per week, ensuring an intimate and focused learning environment.
To maintain the high standard of instruction and group cohesion, all applicants will be asked to complete a short questionnaire and sewing sampler before acceptance. Your application does not secure your participation, and selected participant travelers will be notified via email upon acceptance.
This helps us ensure that every participant has the experience and confidence necessary to fully benefit from this couture-level retreat.
Participants must already be comfortable with basic hand-sewing techniques, including threading a needle, basting/tacking, running stitch, back stitch, darts, pleats, and French seams. While prior experience in historical dressmaking or couture methods is an advantage, it is not mandatory—enthusiasm, patience, and skill with a needle are the true essentials.
*In order for your application to be considered, we would ask you to complete our questionnaire and sewing sample.
